What Is an Application Group?
An application group is a container used to link applications with profiles.
A group defines:

Which applications belong together
-
Which profiles can access those applications
Application groups serve to:

Organize applications into logical sets

Users gain access to applications through profiles → groups → applications
Application Groups Page Overview
The groups page displays a list of all configured groups.
From this page, administrators can:

create new groups
-
view group details
-
edit group configuration
-
delete groups
-
search for groups
-
navigate using pagination controls
Each row represents one group and includes management actions.
Managing Application Groups
Creating a New Group
Click + New Group (top-right corner).
Enter the required information.
Save the group.
After creation, applications and profiles can be assigned to this group.
Group Configuration (Field-by-Field)
1. Name
The name of the group.

Should reflect purpose or category
(e.g., Engineering Tools, Finance Apps, Remote Access)
2. Add Applications
Select one or more applications to include in this group.

These applications will be available to assigned profiles
-
Multiple applications can be added
3. Add Profiles
Select one or more profiles.

Users assigned to these profiles will gain access to the group’s applications
How Access Works
Access is resolved as follows:
User → profile → group → applications

A user is assigned to a profile
-
The Profile is linked to one or more groups
-
Each Group contains applications
-
The user can access those applications
Viewing a Group
Click the View icon to see group details.
This allows you to review the configuration without editing.
Editing a Group
Click the Edit icon to modify the group.
You can update:

Name
-
Assigned applications
-
Assigned profiles
Changes take effect after saving.
Deleting a Group
Click the Delete icon to permanently remove the group.
Deleting a group does not delete the applications inside it.
Applications remain in the system but are no longer linked through that group.
Search and Table Controls
Use the search field (top-right) to filter groups by name.
Use pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages.
Adjust the number of items per page if needed.
Use the column selector (if available) to customize visible columns.
