VISULOX GATEWAY

This is not a critical part regarding server sizing.

Recommendation: It can be a standard server or on top of the VISULOX Access Nodes.

VISULOX PORTAL Service without recorders

A VISULOX PORTAL Node without VISULOX recorders needs the VISULOX compoments.

Recommendation:

25 users with two applications: 2 cores with 2.0 Ghz / 8 Gbyte RAM

200 users with two applications: 48 Gbyte / 8 cores with 2.8 Ghz

Up to 10 VISULOX PORTAL Nodes can be in a VISULOX PORTAL Array.

VISULOX PORTAL Service with recorders

Recommendation:

25 users with two applications: 4 cores with 2.0 Ghz / 16 Gbyte RAM

VISULOX Node for recorders

Recommendation:

200 recoders (max per node) → 6 cores / 48 Gbyte RAM

Storage

The VISULOX Access Node and VISULOX Service need an independent installation and runtime partition.
Default is /opt and should be at 50 Gbyte. This does not include the store used for transferred files and recording.

The size of the store depends on recorder per node and lifetime for the data.

90 days, 20 recorders with 8 hours → 140 Gbyte
90 days, 200 recorders with 8 hours → 1,5 Tbyte

The store can be an NFS or SAN storage provided to all nodes, except the VISULOX Revision Node.
This node needs an extra (own) store. Mostly the lifetime is different on the Revision Node

1 year, 200 recorders with 8 hours → 6,5 Tbyte
